This metallic smokey eye tutorial is perfect for those who want to try something a little more daring. Deviating from the neutral browns and black smokey eyes, we went for a sinful silver as the shade to take center stage, for a unique dramatic look.
Plus, the best part about this look is how easy it is to create! You can still get this stunning look with total ease even if you're not a makeup pro!
Base
For the base a natural, subtle look would be ideal so as to keep total focus on your metallic smokey eyes. We applied Tinted Primer SPF 30 in Light and Luxe Liquid Foundation SPF 18 in Naturelle to make Katelyn's complexion appear luminous and dewy.
Next, we applied Contour Kit in Fair to Light to softly sculpt and define her cheekbones. Then we sweeped on Cream Blush in Fig to the apples of her cheeks. This natural, peachy shade adds a glow and radiance, that doesn't overwhelm Katelyn's fair skin.
Metallic Smokey Eye
You can get this eye makeup look in just 6 easy steps!
Then using Eye Blender Brush we sweeped Eye Shadow in Coy through the crease. This warm caramel shade is the perfect transition shade for any eye makeup look.
Now line the lower lashline with Eye Shadow in Twig using a Crease Brush to blend it out.
Then we followed this up with the Cream Stay Shadow Stick in Metro, creating a thinner line closer to the lashes.
Finally, finish the look by coating your lashes with Volumizing Mascara in Black.
Lips
We created a custom high-shine nude shade to complete the look. Blend Gloss in Peony and Cream Glaze Crayon in Chiffon for a nude lip that goes perfectly with any and all smokey eye looks.
