This New Year's Eve makeup look is for those who want something really bold and dramatic. Turn heads with this gorgeous statement eye look, with a blend of teal blue and warm neutrals. It's sure to bring out your inner diva. Start the New Year how you plan to finish it, with confidence and glamour.

Base
On our model, Yuliya, we wanted a natural, radiant base for her New Year's Eve makeup look as her eye makeup is very bold and so did not want to overwhelm the face. We mixed Luxe Liquid Foundation in
Tahini and
Cafe to match her skin tone. We then took Cream Bronze in
Warmth to softly sculpt out her features. Using the Texture Brush we applied the Cream Bronze just below where she would normally apply Blush, across the cheekbones, to give her face more dimension and a subtle glow.
Eyes
We first took Eyeshadow in shade
Coy for Yuliya's transition shade. We applied this using 'wind-shield wiper' motions to blend it thoroughly into her crease. Use a Crease Brush to complete this step.

On the outer half of the lid, we applied
Eye Shadow in
Vintage using the
Camouflage Brush. Then, lightly pack
Vintage into the crease, slightly overlapping it with
Coy.
Next, we wanted to really intensify the pigment of the shade
Mermaid. So we sprayed Moist Hydration Mist onto our
Mini Crease Brush and then used this wet brush to apply
Eye Shadow in
Mermaid to the lashline, emphasising the outer third of the lid, and narrowing in toward the inner corner of the lid.
To add some more dimension we highlighted her brow bone, the inner corner of her eye, and her lower lashline with the
Cream Stay Shadow Stick in
Beam. Finally, to tie up the look, and make sure it all seamlessly blended together, we layered
Eye Shadow in
Sand Pebble onto the inner half of her lid and into the crease using the
Eye Contour Brush.
We finished off her eyes with a coat of
Volumizing Mascara in
Black on the upper and lower lashes.
Lips
Against her super dramatic eye makeup look, a soft, nude Lipstick was best. It compliments the eye makeup well, without overwhelming the face or appearing excessive.
Tadah...and there you have it! Have a great New Year's Eve and Happy New Year!
