Beauty Myth 1: Makeup Causes Spots

Beauty Myth 5: I Don't Need Sunscreen Because My Skin Doesn't Burn

This is something we hear very commonly, or something along the lines of "I only wear sun protection on holiday". Every day we are exposed to harmful UV rays from the sun, even on the cloudiest of days. These rays cause damage that might not yet be visible to the naked eye. We should be wearing a minimum SPF 15 daily whenever we leave the house. This is becoming more and more easy to do as many skincare and even makeup products now contain a built in SPF. Beauty Myth 6: Oily Skin Types Don't Need Moisturiser

Unfortunately this isn't correct! As much as we wish this one wasn't a myth, it is. Acne can strike well into your 20s, 30s, 40s and 50s.
