Mineral Moisturiser Products

Our entire range of moisturisers and hydrators is paraben-free, which means you're avoiding harmful preservatives, and they also contain many ingredients to help your skin. Collagen is used to give the skin more support, and make it more flexible, while guarding against free radicals. Retinyl Palmitate stimulates the production of epidermal protein and has been used in the treatment of skin ageing and other concerns.

Your skin is not made of steel – it is porous and can take in over 50% of whatever is applied to it, so it is very important to avoid as many harsh chemical ingredients as possible in your skin care routine, and instead replace them with the nourishing ingredients of a natural moisturiser.

Compared to regular moisturisers, you're simply avoiding a lot of potential headaches when using a natural moisturiser. Some of the risky ingredients in regular products include phthalates, often used in fragrances, and parabens used as a preservative.

Paraben Free Moisturisers & Hydrator Products

Glo Skin Beauty products, including our moisturisers and hydrators, are all paraben-free. Parabens are preservatives that are used in traditional forms of cosmetics. They've been in use since the 1950s, and they can help stop the growth of bacteria to prolong shelf life, but we don't use them here because we're not comfortable with the health risks.

If you are searching through other shops and websites to find the right product for you, but you don't want to be exposed to parabens, then you need to read the labels carefully. The most common ones you'll find are propylparaben, butylparaben, and methylparaben. However, it is important to remember that you will never see any of those ingredients in any Glo Skin Beauty products, so you're safe with us.

What are sun cream moisturisers?

In simple terms, and as the name suggests, sun cream moisturisers could be described as a mix between a sun cream and a regular moisturiser. These newer types of moisturisers aren't just for a day at the beach, or even just for summer, because the sun shines year-round whether it feels like it or not. So, by combining a sun cream with a moisturiser you will be getting the SPF protection you need every day of the year.
