Natural Face Masks

When you're using our natural cleansing face masks that are going to be on your skin for a while, you want it to be effective but you also want to be sure that it's safe.

That's why we formulated this range of chemical-free masks and, as with everything else here at Glo Skin Beauty, we use only the highest quality ingredients that are safe to use and also shown to be effective in dealing with various skin conditions and everyday life.

All of these mineral face masks help to detox, soothe, and clear the skin, but each is designed for a purpose. So, let's see what they can do.

What conditions can face masks help with?

For oily or acne-prone skin, our Refining Mask is recommended for its ability to absorb oils, soothe irritation, and purify the skin. The kaolin helps to balance sebum levels while the sulfur adds increased healing and anti-bacterial properties to the blend. It also contains tea tree oil, zinc oxide, and other nourishing, natural ingredients that help keep the skin clean, healthy, and protected from environmental damage.

On the other end of the scale, those suffering from dry skin can turn to our Restorative Mask which has been formulated for maximum hydration at a deep level to provide long-term benefits after the mask comes off. This natural face mask contains antioxidants from dozens of botanical extracts and other beneficial ingredients such as vitamin E for effective relief of dry skin that builds over time.

For sensitive and post-procedure skin, our Soothing Gel Mask is the way to go. It does not contain fragrances or dyes, and great care has been taken with the choice of ingredients to make sure that the end result is gentle to the skin. This soothing mask contains cucumber extract and more helpful botanicals and minerals that soften the skin, reduce the appearance of fine lines, and give a boost in hydration.

How to use a face mask:

  • Start clean: Remove any makeup or skincare products and wash your face with warm water.
  • Cleanse and Exfoliate (Optional): At this stage you can use a cleanser and then an exfoliator if you wish, otherwise just skip to the next part.
  • Warm up: Your pores will open up more when you're warm, and this helps the ingredients in the mask to penetrate the skin. You could take a shower, combining this with step one, or simply place a hot, damp cloth over your face for a few minutes.
  • Apply the mask: Start scooping up the mask out of a small bowl and spread it around the face evenly. You can use your fingers, a soft paintbrush, or any other brush that is soft and wide.
  • Areas to avoid: Don't spread the mask too close to your lips, eyes, or hairline. You can spread it down toward the neck, but don't go any further than that.
  • Wait: Leave the mask alone for at least 15 minutes and then remove it with a clean, damp cloth.

As mentioned earlier, face masks provide the most noticeable benefits when used on a long-term basis. You should see and feel the results after just one use but the best part has yet to come. Browse masks for dry and oily skin.
